I use shamanic healing methods to assist people in aligning with their soul purpose, holistic well-being, and to walk strong and authentically in their path in life. My shamanic healing consists of la Limpia - the traditional healing of the Andes, Takuma Needling; a Brazilian method of releasing stuck emotion, shamanic journey, Soul Mending, dream interpretation, and other ancient methods that help to reestablish right-relationship with life. The benefits can be profound, including emotional clarity, release of past traumas, greater understanding of your life path, and improved health. la Limpia Shamanic Healing

These La Limpia sessions are the traditional shamanic cleanse and healing of the highlands of Ecuador. The ancient Yachaks (wise ones/shamans) were deep observers of nature and life. They discovered that we experience issues in life when there is weakness in the spiritual "luminous field' surrounding the body that allows stress and negative energies to penetrate into the skin, eventually working its way deeper into the body resulting in disease.
The sessions adapt to give you what you need. They work with the four directions and elements to create balance in the internal systems resulting in inner calm and presence. Sessions can include the use of plant leaves, feathers, eggs, aromatic smoke (Palo Santo, Sage, Copal), stones, sulfur, and fire to cleanse and purify the energy of the light body (aura), skin and internal organs. La Limpia can be used to remove energy attachments and if necessary deposessions. Aqua de florida (flower water), aromatic oils and flowers instill the beauty of life. Sounds of bells, whistles or flutes harmonize energy and call the soul into the body. Volcanic stones and tobacco provide protection.
Guidance from the shaman ensures you take certain actions to ensure lasting changes.

These consultations are long enough to get to the heart of the issues while being a more affordable and less intensive option to my other offerings. While these sessions may incorporate some healing processes if you want healing it's best to consider a la limpia session where we have the time to more fully address what you are experiencing.

Takuma Needling
Release stuck energy from the body.
Takuma needling is a shamanic healing technique that comes from the Brazil. It's done using needles from the Takuma tree, a type of palm. The shamans use these needles to scratch and tap in a specific sequence over the posterior of the body, focusing on areas that hold stress, fear or other negative energy. It's possible to experience sweating, strong emotions, remembering of traumas, fears, etc. as the energy is being processed out of the body. The intention is not to penetrate the skin but gently stimulate the nervous system. Bodily sensations may vary from mild to intense. Takuma needling sessions are followed by a light and refreshing la Limpia.
