Service Description

Takuma needling is a Brazilian shamanic healing technique that utilizes needles from a Takuma tree (a type of palm) or similar needles. Using the long needles the shaman lightly scratches and taps in a specific sequence over the posterior of the body focusing on areas that hold emotions and fear. This stimulates the nervous system to release these stagnant energies from the body. Depending on what you are holding it can be a very strong experience of cleansing and releasing energy. The needles do not penetrate the skin. There is also a refreshing la limpia to cleanse, refresh and realign your energy. The client will be lying face down with minimal clothing, with the entire back and legs exposed (no strap across back). In order to get to the sacrum and back of the upper legs below the buttocks it is recommended to wear underwear or swimsuit.
