Meet
Michael 'Heartsong' Cutter

I am a shamanic healer and guide based in Denver, CO. I utilize traditional and contemporary perspectives on healing and life purpose to assist people in navigating life challenges.  â€‹â€‹The name "Cosmic Heartsong of the Earth Star Nation" was given to me by one of my teachers a Diné (Navajo) shaman. The given names are a traditional way to honor our celestial origins and step into our souls calling in life. The heart houses the fire, and I use my voice to help keep that fire alive in the people.

My Calling in Life

In 2010 I was in extremely poor health, hospitalized in ICU for a few weeks with a severe case of Crohn's disease. I had lived homeless for a time and life was plagued with what seemed like unsolvable problems. I saw no reason to live. Just as I was stepping into the next world I had a vision calling me to my purpose in life.  I was then shown my path for the next three years until I would begin meeting the shamans that would teach me.

The calling vision flooded my body, mind and spirit with life giving energy and illuminated my path. I was told on several occasions by doctors that I would not heal, or would die if I did not follow their way, but as I put my faith in my inner guidance the healing began. I didn't see it at the time but it was an initiation into the spirit world. Over a decade later my life has transformed in many ways.

We are all Indigenous to this Earth

Being indigenous isn't about who we are it's about our relationship with who we are and the Earth. The indigenous elders remind us that we are all indigenous. My Celtic and European ancestors were indigenous but the Romans and Christianity destroyed that beautiful relationship with the Earth and life. That cultural trauma has never been addressed and is at the heart of our current cultural issues and cofusion. The same is basically true for us all, no matter where we come from. Healing those wounds puts back in touch with our humanity to open our hearts to life, each other and our purpose.

My Approach

I have dedicated my life to healing and learning everything I can. Paradoxically my work is to release all that and open myself to being the channel for the messages and healing. With all of the complexities in life much of my work is to reveal the simple truth. Opening our heart to that is whats needed for healing, not more mind candy.

My approach is direct and compassionate with clear communication, lightness and humor – no fluff and no BS.
