Meet Michael
I am a shamanic healer and guide based in Denver, CO. I utilize Life Purpose Hand Analysis and shamanic healing to assist people in healing the wounds and living with deeper purpose and meaning in life.
My Calling into the Shamanic Path
In 2010 I was in critical condition and hospitalized with a severe bout of Chron's disease. I had lived homeless for a time and my life was plagued with what seemed like unsolvable problems. I saw no reason to live but had surrendered to the will of spirit to guide me. As I was leaving this world I had a vision calling me into my purpose in life. I was shown the path to follow that would take the shamans that would teach me.
The most advanced science couldn't keep me alive but the calling vision flooded my body with life, giving the energy to walk out of the hospital on my own feet just a few days later. I was told on multiple occasions that I would die if I did not follow their medical advice, but as I put my faith in spirit and walked my path the healing began.
I didn't see it at the time but it was the first af may initiations into becoming a healer.
We are all Indigenous to this Earth.
No matter our heritage, some form of colonization or domination has fractured our relationship with the Earth, with our ancestors, and with our own sense of meaning. That ancestral trauma runs deep — and most people are living inside its effects without even knowing it, unable to name why they suffer or that anything can be done.
Shamanic traditions have understood this for thousands of years. Healing this rupture — rekindling an authentic relationship with self, life, the ancestors, and the Earth — is at the core of everything I do.
My Approach
The deep work I have done has led me to understanding my own suffering and human suffering through the indigenous healing arts. It's not modern psychology, it's a deeper, simpler kind of psychology rooted in thousands of years of tradition. We don't heal from thinking and talking our way through things — we heal when we go deeper into the heart and spiritual roots of the issues.
I utilize hand analysis and la limpia because that's where I was guided and because they work efficiently, giving the power to the individual. My approach is direct and compassionate with lightness and humor. I work to empower the individual to be self sufficient, not a slave to therapy, health care – no fluff and no BS.

IIHA Hand Analysis Certification
International Institute of Hand Analysis, 2022
I am a certified hand analyst with the IIHA (International Institute of Hand Analysis). I received my training from Ronelle Coburn and IIHA founder Richard Unger. I have a deep passion for learning the art and science of hand analysis. I am constantly learning more. I teach hand analysis in Denver, CO.
Shamanic Experience & Apprenticeship
Ecuador, North America, Africa, 2012-present
In 2012 I began learning the shamanic ways. I worked closely with Garrett Duncan (Diné), Xhosa Sangoma John Lockley (S. Africa), and since 2019 I have apprenticed with Taita Yachak Itzhak Beery and other shamans including Mama Maria Juana and don Raul Yamberla, don Manuel Calazacon, and others. I have been entrusted by my teachers to bring their messages and healing to the modern world.

Before all of this I spent over 20 years as an award-winning graphic designer — work that taught me how to listen, translate complexity into clarity, and solve multi-layered problems — surprisingly not unlike the healing work I do now.
