For this special Journey Into Sound, we will create a beautiful altar to evoke the energy of love for the earth, each other and all beings. It will be a perfect space to realign with your true essence of love and open your heart to life. Perfect for couples, singles, friends or anyone called to find connection with self, each other and the world around us.
Journey Into Sound has been one of Denver's favorite sound healing events since 2015. It's also evolved, becoming a unique healing experience including a spiritual cleanse and shamanic energy healing as well as a deep immersion into sound. As you open to the experience and 'listen' with all of your senses, you will be carried and nurtured by the timeless energies of nature, and the dynamic sounds of the handpan, didgeridoo, drums, flute, tibetan bowls, vocal toning and more. This unique sound is multidimensional, resonating with energies of the earth and cosmos with a balance of masculine and feminine to bring balance and deep connection. Harmonize with the frequencies of A432, known for its reflection of universal patterns found throughout nature. Michael and Joy create a sonic landscape to encourage deep relaxation, self awareness and healing. Unlike most 'sound bath' experiences Joy and Michael often work directly on participants with drums, rattles and other shamanic tools to support you in the ways you need to deeply let go and connect with your experience.

Over the years modern sound healing has become recognized for its long list of benefits, but for thousands of years the ancient traditions have used sound as a tool for healing and much much more. The A432 frequencies we use are widely recognized as more calming, relaxing and connective to the natural vibrations of nature and the cosmos. We call it Journey Into Sound, because we invite you to relax and allow the sound to transport you into the timeless space within where the insights of the ancestors, guides and spirit is eternally present, waiting for you now.

Please arrive at least 10 min early so we can begin on time. Due to the special nature of this event, latecomers can’t be admitted. DOORS ARE LOCKED AFTER THE EVENT BEGINS
Cushions and Mats to lie on are not provided!
A Yoga mat and blanket is sufficient. Some prefer a thicker cushion on the hardwood floors.
You must pre-register, tickets are not available at the door.
ABOUT
Michael and Joy have many years experience facilitating healing sound. In 2015 they first visioned Journey Into Sound which became a favorite gathering in the Denver/Boulder area for several years. Joy and MIchael weave a magical tapestry of sound to invite you into the warmth and light of the soul. Sometimes evocative, playful, soulful, edgy, ethereal, earthy and cosmic, always awakening and calling you home to the heart and soul.
Joy communicates playful, primordial, and ethereal energy through sound. She is a womens voice coach and facilitates private and group sound sessions. Michael has been a sound healer for over a decade. His experience and training in indigenous shamanism gives unique perspective and allows him to better support and hold space for the group.
Joy Sylvia
Joy Sylvia is a gifted musician and intuitive who has an innate ability to express emotion and vibration vocally. Joy intuitively uses sound for healing and transformation in evocative and playful ways. She uses a variety of instruments including handpan, tibetan bowls, Native American flute, drums, kalimba, voice and more. She opens her voice to let the ancestors sing their beautiful songs. Many of her instruments are tuned to A=432hz, which is in alignment with universal patterns of energy and is soothing in nature. She facilitates women's drumming and vocal empowerment workshops.
Heartsong is a name which Joy feels a strong connection, for her heart is the channel through which her songs come through most evocatively.

Michael Cutter
Michael Heartsong Cutter is a shamanic healer and guide. A self-proclaimed musician for years, sound played an important role in his personal healing journey beginning in his twenties before sound healing was recognized. For Michael, Journey Into Sound is an opportunity to hold a beautiful space for people to drop in and experience the profound natural states of connection and insights that arise when we drop into a supportive space.
In his private practice, he works with clients to help them overcome challenge and trauma and step into their gifts and purpose in life. He leads workshop, events and trips to Ecuador to for the traditional healing ceremonies.
