About the event

Join us for a special opportunity to learn from world renown healer, teacher and activist Itzhak Beery. Itzhak is a Taita Yachak (elder shaman) initiated in traditions in Ecuador and Brazil. Itzhak works from a space of warmth and joy that is contagious. Itzhak carries a depth of wisdom from his many years spent in the highlands and jungles of Ecuador and Brazil. The events will be held in the beautiful space of the Gold Hill Kiva, located about 30 minutes west of Boulder in Gold Hill.

The Night Watchman: Amazonian Guayusa Dream Tea Ritual with Rapéh

Step into a sacred evening of deep vision and gentle awakening. In this special gathering, we’ll journey with the Amazonian Guayusa dream tea—an ancient ally for dreamers and seekers—known to open the gates of intuition and spirit connection.

To begin, we’ll be introduced to Rapé (pronounced ha-peh), a sacred tobacco snuff blended with healing herbs. Used ceremonially to clear the mind and center the spirit, Rapé invites stillness, clarity, and grounded presence before we sip the dream tea.

Together, we will honor the spirit of the Guayusa tree through music, song, and heartfelt ritual. As the tea’s subtle magic begins to work, we’ll settle into a meditative state—inviting visions, guidance, and inner wisdom. This is not a hallucinatory experience, but one that gently quiets the mind, softens the heart, and amplifies your inner knowing.

Guayusa, cousin to yerba maté and green tea, carries gentle caffeine, blissful theobromine, and calming L-theanine—offering focused energy and dreamlike insight.

Come with an open heart and a curious spirit. Leave refreshed, connected, and inspired by the whispers of the night.
