The Feather Way is a healing modality developed by Navajo healer Garrett Duncan, drawing from his traditional training and Reiki background—utilizing feathers as healing tools. Birds are messengers and call us into the freedom, mystery, and expansiveness of the air/spirit element. They remind us of our power of flight to journey in the world of spirit for healing and as messengers of spirit. The Feather Way training provides a foundation to ground your practice and grow from.

I will teach the original Feather Way protocols plus I will share key insights I have learned from my apprenticeship in Ecuador that creates a deeper foundation of personal power necessary for supporting others through the challenges of life—without being a sponge for the stories and traumas they carry. This is the art of holding space.

This will also be an introduction to shamanic diagnostics—to see the underlying patterns and issues beyond the stories and traumas. You will receive your own diagnostic to better understand your gifts and challenges and integrate this into your practice.

Together these practices form a strong foundation for a successful shamanic healing practice.

This is great for beginners and experienced practitioners. Whether beginning or experienced, the key is grow our own roots deep so we can stand tall in the winds of life and bring that to our work. 'Advanced' training is not taught, it's learned through experience and repetition. This workshop provides a foundation for that growth.

• How to properly clean and care for feathers  

• Techniques for activation and energetic cleansing of feathers for energy healing

• Shamanic diagnostic tools to identify areas of trauma, challenge or blockages

About the Host 

Michael Cutter is a shamanic healer and life purpose guide with over a decade of training and healing experience in indigenous shamanism in North and South America and S. Africa. He is a creative visionary, healer, drum maker and incense maker. During a near death experience,Michael was called to work with shamans to learn the traditional ways. Michael was one of the first to become certified as a master teacher and practitioner of The Feather Way with Garrett Duncan. This initiated an immersion into the ancient art of bird shamanism, bird language and interspecies communication with teachers such as Jon Young, Alwyn Myburgh, John Lockley and the Koi-San trackers in the Kalahari. He apprentices with master Yachaks (bird shamans) from the highland traditions of Ecuador. Michael brings many years of practical experience to his teaching.
